Christmas is a brilliantly busy month for artists & makers!! :) And for us... we still have a few creative workshops running in our Winter term, our xmas pudding party is coming up on the 16th December and we have got TWO Handmade Markets this month!!

This weekend, Saturday 12 December, we have 17 talented artists showcasing and selling their work from the Creative Open Workshops space.

Button Lea
Tracy makes Handmade brooches, bags, purses and accessories made from vintage and reclaimed materials.

Helen Woodward
Designed for all occasions from the everyday to the special event, each piece is personally handcrafted. She has developed a distinctive signature style using vintage beads, semi precious gems, crystals and freshwater pearls.

Once upon a Tin
Judith Williamson uses tinplate taken from unwanted sweet, biscuit and storage tins which is then cut and manipulated to form unique artworks ranging from wall panels and decorative canvases to smaller and highly unusual pieces of jewellery. 

Lady and Small
From bags to bunting, purses to party boxes, they draw inspiration from themes of nostalgia, burlesque and everyday objects in order to create cherished pieces of handmade goods.

Kirsty Davies
Kirsty’s debut collection of jewellery is fresh, fun and exciting. Inspired by catwalk couture her work incorporates a diversity of materials. Her aim as a designer is to create items that are inspired but not dictated to by fashion by creating beautifully different, stand out pieces.

The Matthew Craig DOT com
Matthew Craig's Comic books have been described as "A perfect example of the breadth and passion of today’s British small press scene" by ForbiddenPlanet.co.uk. Sally Pepper
Sally is a jewellery designer - maker, using glass, gemstones, pearls, crystals and other mediums complimented with sterling silver.  She has also designed a range of hair jewellery suitable for weddings, proms and balls.

Laura Cameron and Richard Johnson
Laura’s work consists of beaded jewellery crafted with a mix of glass, semi precious stones and resin. Richard is a fine art photographer and his work displays landscapes and breathtaking architecture from Florence and places closer to home like Lichfield and Worcester.

Gemma Donegan
Gemma designs handmade glass items such as: homeware, jewellery and Christmas decorations.  She finds a lot of her inspiration in the nature of glass itself; "I love the way the colours can be blended together when heated, to create whirling patterns and textures". She is also inspired by the ocean and attempts to re-create forms which echoes the crashing waves and the movement of water.

Jaccylee Jewellery
Jackie Linton creates handmade beaded jewellery, on which she focusses on her Dragonfly and Angel themed design.

My Twin Teddy and Kizzy Knits
Tracy Wootton creates hand knitted children’s hats, baby’s Santa hats and knitted caterpillars as well as teddy bears dressed in hand knitted clothes, buy the matching outfit for your baby/child.

Peeko Crochet
Handmade crocheted items - clothes and accessories, toys and almost anything else you could think of. All of her items are handmade from her own original designs.

Handmade by Tigerlily
Unique one off items with ethically sourced materials. Handmade by Tigerlily's aim is to provide a wide range of handmade items from handmade cards to wool felt bags and lots in between.

Said Label
Through a love for colour & texture, she decided to dive into textiles as her means of expression. Using charity shop finds for unusual patterns, these bold bags and accessories will bring colour & smiles into your everyday life!

Nelly Schokker
The colourful textiles range comprises homeware, childrens wear, bunting, soft toys and tiny bags. Luscious colours and pleasing shapes make these items highly covetable.
